The end result was that the software did not uninstall through GP!įurthermore neither the client computers or the Server (running GP) have a GUID for DameWare listed. However I later learned, after the software did not uninstall, that the original Group Policy installation package had been updated. I therefore made the decision to attempt to remove the software using same. Here is a screen capture of the software in question -īefore my time this software was installed using Group Policy. I am the Administrator of a Domain, and I cannot uninstall DameWare Remote Control software from a number of client computers (running both Windows XP, and Windows 7).
